Why do some people unnecessarily leave their care engines running? Sometimes they’re on the phone, sometimes they’re getting organized before driving. Sometimes they’re adjusting their seats and mirrors or maybe just putting on their seatbelt. Here’s the thing: all of these can be done before turning the key.

Before I even back out of the driveway, I make sure I have everything ready to go and I even check for oncoming traffic.

Why?

Because idling a car engine not only wastes gas but it pollutes the air.
